The Miyagi Japanese Restaurant

This is a Japanese Restaurant where the food were superb and original....I brought my bestfriend Anita here for her birthday lunch treats and we enjoyed the good Japanese cuisines so much...all fresh and tasty...the price was quite expensive but worth the originality and value. This restaurant is located in Bandar Baru Bangi, next to the Annur Medical Centre .The main entrance was exactly like a typical Japanese restaurant, comprises of two sliding wooden doors. Once you’ve stepped in, you’re greeted by a typical Japanese styled layout.

the set...from left to right : sashimi, mixed sweet potatoes, carrots in syrup, kaki fry (oyster in breadcrumbs) and of course the soy sauce

Anita was sooo happy with her set of meal..
Me with my choice of set meal..

Zakaria Laksa Teluk Kechai, Kuala Kedah

I found this place on my way back to Ipoh from Langkawi..it is located in Kuala Kedah, Kedah.

The specialty here is the homemade special 'laksa'...It was so yummilicious that one plate was not enuf for me...:P
Laksa with yellow sambal and tumeric leaves

Another delicacy was this glutinous rice wrapped in banana leaves which cost me only 50 sen each...
My kids loved it so much that they managed to eat up 6 pieces each...haha...

the soft glutinous rice with 'serunding'

William's Stall, PJ

This may not seem a very nice place to dine in...but the food was superb!! It provides hotel standard food but I think they are much much better than that...It provides varieties of food such as western food like spaghetti in variety of sauces, many types of nasi goreng,  malay's delicacy such as nasi lemak, roti canai,  jumbo size fruit juices and all...My all time favourite is Nasi Goreng Scampy where it comes with crab meats and prawns, the seafood fettucini carbonara and Beef Cordon Bleu. Not to forget the mixed grill with a combination of sausages, lamb, steak, duck meat and grilled chicken served with mint sauce...Damn so good!!
Be warned that all comes in jumbo size where a plate is enough for 2-3 person...the price is also reasonable...

Scampy Fried Rice...Price RM20...

Chicken Chop in cream..RM20-RM30
See the fully loaded fettucini in olive oil n garlic..

Mixed Grill...RM35
Jumbo fruit juice RM8-RM10

Muara Ikan Bakar, Tanjung Harapan, Port Kelang

This place is also known as Esplanade or Tanjung Gila...this is a dine-in spot suitable for food lovers where they can bring in their big families here... it is a great choice if you are looking to splurge a little on a comfortable environment with a great selection of seafood fresh from the tubs and then proceed to the weighing counter to let them prepare according to your choice. This restaurant accomodates around 500 pax per visit.

I love this food court...especially the seafoods they sell...the place is so buzzing with activities and if u are lucky, u might get a table right away, otherwise, be prepared to wait for an empty one...
U can eat anything here...but for Muslim, be careful of the food u choose to eat...some stalls sell pork and non-halal food...
Darwisy is enjoying his meal...the whole package cost us RM80 only...considered cheap!
Our port was this seafood stall that sells water snails, crabs, squids, many kind of fish and clams..The sweet and crunchy deep fried mantis-prawn, bulus ( a kind of fish), fried squids and the Portuguese style snapper and garoupa are our favourite choice..We have also tried the black pepper 'siput sedut' which was soo hot n spicy enuf to make u sweat but nice tho! :)
Chaon concentrate giler makan..haha...see the Portuguese style 'ikan bakar' on the left hand side..

Recently, my family and I went to Taiping to visit my cousin. On the way home, we managed to drop by at this very humble and simple 'warung' to try out its specialties : the Mihun Sup Seringgit and its famous 15 sen satay!  Yummy...!! This place is situated next to the Kamunting Petronas Station...The place was quite packed with customers when we got there...maybe becoz it was hari raya...The satay aahh....one person can eat 20 cucuk tauu...hahahaha....

Al-Rawsha again..

Then,we had this so called Mehndi rice...the rice was sooo good that we managed to finish a whole plate...(the plate was enuf for 3 small sized person)...The lamb/chicken was cooked together with the rice so that the juice will blend into the rice.
the Barbicans in various flavour...RM4 per bottle
